The Meller Art Gallery
The Meller Gallery and Art Café is found at 55 Market Square, Witney, adjoining the beautiful Church Green. The Gallery, opened by the founder of Veritasse, Aidan Meller, shows a lively and colourful collection of secular and Christian art works side by side. Gallery manager, Lisa Bryan, is very knowledgeable about contemporary art, as well as being an artist herself.
The new Art Café is a valuable addition to the Gallery, bringing more wall space for display and a wider audience for the art. It is open between 9am and 5.30pm, serving delicious paninis, baguettes, cakes and chocolate. Drinks include Fair Trade and Westminster coffee, Fair Trade and other teas and Belvoir pressé.
